Cryo/Cuff cold and compression dressing system

The Aircast Cryo/Cuff system consists of three parts: a cuff that covers the specific body part with pressurized ice water, a cooler that holds enough water and ice for 6 to 8 hours of cryotherapy, and a tube that exchanges the water between the cooler and cuff. Soothing cold water envelopes the affected area reducing swelling and providing relief from pain. Elevating the cooler forces cold water into the cuff and compresses the affected area. It applies safe compression to minimize hemarthrosis and swelling. In addition, because the cold and compression are controlled, there is no known risk of frost bite. The simplicity of the design makes it ideal for the ER, post-op, training room and home.

The Aircast AutoChill System enhances the Cryo/Cuff with two unique functions: continuous cold pulsating pressure. Continuous cold eliminates the need for manual water recycling by utilizing and electronic pump to exchange warm water for cold. Pulsating pressure resulting from the automatic exchange of water provides comfort and therapeutic benefits of intermittent compression.
